איסמעיל מיפו, כיום בן 60, סיפר לי שהוא עבד בחברת PAX, זו שהוציאה את ה-EP בישראל בלבד. מסתבר שהוא קיבל את מטריצות התקליט מאנגליה עם הודעה שאמרה, "תוציאו בבקשה את התקליט החדש של ה-Seeds"' הטעות המצחיקה (או הטראגית) הפכה לאבן דרך בתולדות אולפני ההקלטה בישראל. (אי-ביי)

אי.פי ראשון לעומר, יוצר בן 22, חמישה שירים שהוקלטו בחדרו הקט. לאחר כמה שנות יצירה דיסקרטית, החליט לנסות ולחלוק 20 דקות של פסיכדליה אקוסטית אפלה ורומנטית המבטאות בעיניו חיפוש נואש אך אמביוולנטי אחר בית ואהבה, ונוצרו על רקע התמודדות ראשונה עם זוגיות רצינית.
כשהחל לכתוב שירים, הושפע עומר מהרוק הקלאסי של שנות השישים ולהקות הגראנג', משם יצא לטיול ארוך בעולם המוזיקה העשיר להפעים, ובתהליך כתיבת שירים אלו חזר לשולי הבסיס והושפע בעיקר מה- 13th floor elevators, טים באקלי, לאונרד כהן ופאטי סמית. השירים המלודיים ביסודם נעטפו בהפקה ביתית שלאחר כמה האזנות סבלניות מתבררת כתואמת את העולם הרגשי שמתוכו יצאו השירים. בעיני היוצר מוטב להאזין להם בפינת חדר שקט וחשוך עם נר מעל חוברת המילים.
בימים אלו מתגורר עומר על הר הכרמל, וממשיך בחיפושיו המוסיקליים.
בנימה קצת יותר אישית, אני יכול להגיד שמבחינתי הריליס הזה הוא ניצחון. תקשיבו לו, תנו לו זמן, צריך הרבה אומץ כדי לעמוד מאחורי יצירה אישית כל כך.

עדו פלוק פגש את אסטל ברוך במסיבת אייטיז בניו יורק בשנת 2005. אסטל, מוזיקאית בריטית-אמריקאית, הספיקה כבר להוציא שני דיסקים עם הרכב האינדי פופ האמריקאי המכובד, בריטל סטארז (Brittle Stars), לחרוש את ארצות הברית בהופעות, ולהקליט עם הרכבים ניו יורקיים, ביניהם להקת "יומן טלויז'ן" (Human Television).
יחד עם פלוק, אמן וידאו ישראלי, הם יצרו את אלפנט פארייד (Elephant Parade), להקת לואו-פיי אינדי-פופ. הצמד השתלב עד מהרה בסצנת האינדי של ברוקלין וניו יורק, וביחד הופיע במעדונים ברחבי העיר, כ-CBGBs, Sine-e, Pianos, Northsix ו-Delancey. הבאז סביב הלהקה המקומית התרחב כשזאק קונדון מלהקת "ביירות" הזמין את הצמד לחמם את הלהקה בסיבוב ההופעות הניו יורקי.
בדצמבר 2006 הגיע הצמד לישראל (אסטל עשתה עלייה) כדי להקליט את האלבום הבא. שיר ראשון שלהם, גודביי (Goodbye) יוצא בישראל בדיסק האוסף של תחנת הרדיו 106fm. האלבום יוצא בארץ בלייבל בייסמנט. (הבייסמנט)

Oran zilbershtein ,a 22 years old musician from Haifa. His debut album could be described as acoustic folk, it features only two instruments - his acoustic guitar and his vocals.
Before venturing on his own, oran played electric guitar in "Florida?" He says that after shows he would come home and his ears would ring and hum because of the squeaking coming from his amplifier, and that reason joined his love of pure acoustic albums and the decision to record "leftovers" was born. The album was recorded live in a studio during a couple of hours ,the songs were written over a period of two years. Songs were written especially to fit the format of acoustic guitar and vocals very much like the early albums of Bob Dylan and the rest of the folkies.

- An addition to a slow driver (1999)
- Save Long Lane (2001)

The compilation includes artists from various ages and tries to cover the entire "rainbow" of this genre: Lenses and Amit Erez show the more Folky, innocent side; Rotem Or and Jay walk the Popish, sweet side; Tsuky and Morephlexis touch the Psych end of the genre; Shrugged (Ohad Ezer, formerly of "The Selfish Gene") and Fond (Roei Zilber, son of Ariel Zilber) show some rock attitude and Omri Levi and Shafrir come from the more melancholic pan; and there is also Hadara who combines Macy Gray's Funk with Rickie Lee Jones's Blues.

Wooden Tapes is Tsuky's fourth album. A Ramat-Gan studio engineer, Tsuky has often been defined as FACT 's most prominent artist. His current album was 'stitched' together in only four months (January to April 2002) and stands out as his most bare and open creation. As usual with Tsuky, acoustic instruments blend with computer programming and manipulations to create a psychedelic ambience that succeeds to both challenge and excite the listener at one stroke. Running into any of his previous albums you may already be aware of his fondness of short musical segments and his analogy of album/ journey. In Wooden Tapes this analogy is sharpened and reveals his unique abilities to master both music and lyrics.

Stowaway is Tsuky's second album. A studio engineer in his thirties, as well as a unique songwriter and musician, Tsuky grew up on Faust and Can and lists the Beta Band and Bugskull among his current influences. Tsuky's music may be described as gloomy and melodic kraut-rock. The tracks in Stowaway (all of which feature Tsuky himself on all instruments and vocals) are a mixture of acoustic and electronic elements recorded on PC as well as in a professional studio.

Format:CDR Subsoniq is Uri Cristal ,an instrumental hip-hop artist from Jerusalem, who, during the last couple of years, has been working with the Jerusalemite rapper Purple 59 (who produced two tracks on the Where Did We Go Wrong album) and Sartan Hashad (who mixed the band?s last single Fucked Up Country). In his eponymous debut EP, Cristal uses hip-hop constructions and beats as basis for a wider musical statement. In an intuitive and innovative manner he ?cuts? elements from pop records (Beats International), alternative country (Cowboy Junkies), post-punk and breakbeats, places them on the beat and wraps everything into a personal soundtrack. Like his colleagues abroad (D.J. Shadow, Rjd2 and Mixmaster Mike) Cristal finds inspiration and legitimate materials in old unknown vinyl records ? the reason that he chose to release his first album on 10? format. The EP includes a comics booklet by young Jerusalemite artist Lior Snapiri ? a collection of works that complements Subsoniq?s music in its innocent and personal spirit.
